Pelican Point Kayaking offers guided kayaking tours departing from Walvis Bay to Pelican Point peninsula, located 45km away. The tours provide opportunities to observe approximately 50,000 Cape Fur seals, Heaviside and Bottlenose dolphins, black-backed jackals, flamingos, pelicans, brown hyenas, and humpback whales (April-October migration). The journey includes views of Walvis Bay wetlands and the world's largest pink salt lakes. Tours depart at 8am using comfortable 4x4 vehicles for transportation to the kayaking site on the protected bay side. No prior kayaking experience is required and the activity is family-friendly.
