Inspired and originally built for the old Abenab mine that closed down in the year 1958, the rooms of the Abenab Lodge were built shortly before WW1. Initially constructed for contract labourers, the chalets are authentic remnants of the era of colonialism and slavery, which have now been modified to embody nature’s benign tranquility.
